Ho, Ho, Ho Merry Christmas! (although it looks like Kailey is about to cry she is actually just shouting this sentence!)
Because he is so big, our Dr. gave us the okay to start baby food today! We had to wait until Kailey was 6 months to start, so I was way excited! He did great... he is going to have no problems adjusting, he even tried grabbing the spoon to feed himself. Apparently I'm not fast enough! LOL Kailey and I have been having some very interesting conversations lately, and one of them has been revolving around her going to Pre-school next year. And, this is what Kailey says everytime I mention the word Pre-school...
Me: Next year you get to go to Pre-school Kailey, won't that be fun?
Kailey: Yeah, first I got to go to Three-school, then Four-school and then Five-school! It will be so fun!
Me: (After containing my laughter) No Kailey, you get to go to PRE-school , not THREE-school.
Kailey: Yeah mom, I get to go to Three- school, then Four-school and then Five-school! I am so excited it's going to be so fun!!
That's right although we SWINERIZED our entire house, the little piggy still managed to sneak its way into our home! Well we actually aren't 100% sure that is was the swine, but all the signs were there... skin turning pink, curly tails starting to grow, ears starting to point and curl and no to mention the snorts & squeals that could be heard coming out of our home daily! Luckily it only managed to make it's way to Zack... and very minorly to Kailey and I. Poor Zack took the whole GRUNT of it for us! I am proud to say that we have starred the piggy in the face and defeated it! The piggy ain't got nothin' on us...
Well no where really, we just haven't had much to blog about! We had a fun Thanksgiving with my sister and her family. And, a fun drop by visit from our friends Sally, Josh, Annabelle & Layla! Other than that we have just been...
Chillin' out! Taken life easy and trying to get ready for Christmas and the most anticipated visit from SANTA... we can't wait!

We have had tons of fun with friends this last month! Kailey always LOVES playing with Russell and aren't they just the cutest together?!? I love it!!
Today is Kailey's 3rd birthday! I can't believe she is 3 already, time seems to fly by so fast when you have kids. I can't believe 3 years ago we were welcoming our first baby into this world. She has filled our lives with so much joy and happiness we couldn't imagine our lives without her. We feel so blessed and grateful for her. We love you Kailey, happy birthday love bug!I wish we had a camera that could take mini videos so I could show you, but a pictureless post will have to do for now until I can try to get some pics. of it. Carson my little 3 month old man rolled over for the first time yesterday! He is such a big boy already, I can't believe it. He rolled twice in a row from his back to his belly. I am so proud of my little man!! We love you Carson!
I thought Halloween was going to be way better than it actually was this year. I thought Kailey would be way into it and be way excited to go get lots of candy, I mean what kid doesn't like candy right? Zack and I were so excited to make some trades... Oh wait, I mean we were excited to help lighten Kailey's load. Okay, basically we just wanted some candy too, let's be honest what parent doesn't? But, Kailey was a grouch. I don't know why, but she was in a mood. Needless to say it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. Oh well, maybe next year. I still had an adorable Monkey and cute, grouchy Tinkerbell.
She wouldn't let me do her hair, so we made do with what we had. And, for someone who didn't want to Trick-Or-Treat, she sure did love her candy... her face shows it all!
Most of the day, well until it came time to go trick-or-treating, she was in a great mood. Look at this cute smile, if only it had lasted the WHOLE day! And, we would like to thank Annabelle and Layla for the adorable birthday outfit! Kailey LOVES it, it is her favorite outfit to wear.
I couldn't help myself, I love Halloween and all the fun treats you can make! Zack has a treat day at work the last Wednesday of every month and I just had to bust out the Kitty Litter again. It is my favorite Halloween treat to make... it's so disgusting! This year I topped it off by adding worms to the poo... "our cats got worms." LOL
Carson is starting to smile, and isn't it contagious? He is the cutest little boy ever, just look at that adorable little face! He has been sick the last few weeks with a stuffy nose and a cough and yet he still manages to smile, coo and giggle! I love this little man!
We had Carson's 2 month check-up today and he is getting so big. My little man is 13.3 lbs. and in the 75% for weight. He has grown 2.25 inches and is now 24.25 and is in the 85% for height! And, he's got a head like his daddy and is in the 90% for head circumference. He did really well with his shots because he has little to no voice so he didn't really cry much! Actually it was/is really sad! And, on a side note we got Kailey her flu shot while we were there and she didn't cry at all! She was such a big girl, I was so proud of her!
We FINALLY were able to bless our sweet little Carson yesterday. We have moved the date for his blessing 4 times, and we finally just decided to just pick a date and go with it because all that really mattered was that he was blessed! But, it doesn't matter anymore because the day turned out perfect! Despite Carson's virus that has left him voiceless, he still manages to huge smiles on his face! He is the sweetest little man, I love him so much!
